 A few free down town parking places

• There are a few streets free Parking between the « Hôtel de Paris » ( Tulip Inn) on Boulevard d'Alsace and the supermarket Casino starting from the Rue Louis Nouveau.
• As well down the Boulevard Carnot on the right side some streets are free. Behind Le Palais de Justice (Courthouse)
  
  

Otherwise put money in the ticket meter and leave the ticket inside your car.

• The stamps to pay your fines can be bought in a tabaco store. Keep the receipt for you…in case they ask you to pay twice !
  
  Two big cover parkings are near the house, soon a third one ! 

Markets

MARCHES PROVENCAUX

Provençal markets

Every mornings except on Mondays : from about 7 to 12.30AM

Marché Forville. The biggest for fruits and vegetables. Ouest side of Cannes, near the town hall, old town, harbourgh.

The middle lane of the market are peasant with their own production. (not all of them...)

On mondays all day, is an antic market. From 8 AM to 6 PM.

Marché Gambetta.

The neareast nearly down the apartment ! Clothes are sold there as well.

In summer, it’s open on mondays too.

Marché aux fleurs. Flowers market. Just before the town hall. Front of many restaurants.

Open every days. Les Allées de la Liberté.

Marché de « Cannes-La Bocca ». Big market on Saturdays. About 4 kilometers from Cannes center, on the ouest side.

Marché in Antibes on Thursday.

Supermarket

Down town : Lots of small stores but for bigger ones:

MONOPRIX : Rue Jean Jaurès, front of the train station, the food is on first floor.


MONOPS' on Marché Gambetta, open late.


CASINO : On Boulevard d’Alsace. 10 minutes walk on left handside when you go out of our house.
By car, drive on « la voie rapide » (the big road front of our house) on direction Antibes, at the 3^rd light is a marble fontain, turn around and take the Boulevard d’Alsace. The Supermarket is about 30 meters on the right side. 


Less than 10km, in Antibes: CARREFOUR :  
Very big hypermarket, just exit the motorway.


Direction Fréjus
Zone Industrielle(Z.I) Free motorway Exit : « Cannes-La Bocca » Lots of big stores cheaper than down town ! 
Géant Casino:  Exit: Mandelieu-La Napoule, an other big supermarket.


Good baker : On the place du Commandant Maria, behind the house, it’s call « EPI D’OR »
