3 bedroom in a charming attic apartment !

 Our apartment, 100 meters under a slanted attic ceiling on "Boulevard d'Alsace" is a kind of loft. 8 minutes walk from the Palais des Festivals, convention center and 300 meters from the sand beaches .

 This bright, recently renovated and tastefully decorated apartment is ideally located for business or leisure. Situated on the 3rd floor, no lift.

We have air-conditioning since October 2010

 Kitchen 

is fully-equipped, eat-in Kitchen with plenty of cooking gear, appliances, a fridge freezer refrigerator, toaster, microwave. 

There are also plenty of casual and fine-dining restaurants nearby, plus several supermarkets around our building if you choose to cook !

The three bedroom have slanted ceiling, which, of course give it charm!

 The adjacent street H.Simon Has been renovated since spring 2010. Our building is on left hand side.

Our home is located five minutes walking distance from beach, in city centre, minutes from restaurants, pubs, cafés, tea-rooms....

You can easily take advantage of the nearby beaches, or make a visit to the shopping area.

300 m from home, find sand free beach.

We have put a lot of thought and work into making our holiday home as comfortable as possible, and we hope you will enjoy your stay if you decide to come !

The apartment is located near the hôtel de Paris, behind the Marché Gambetta and the train station.
You must know that being in the center Cannes it’s noisy when the windows are open.

Less than 5 minutes walk will take you to one of the 8km sand beaches along one of the famous promenade in the world: « la Croisette »

Population :70000 in 1990. Much more in the summer !

Information center : Palais des Festivals on la Croisette and outside the train station.

La Croisette :  Straight on from the apartment, 0,300 meters

Rue d’Antibes : The main shopping street in Cannes and all streets around call « Carré d'Or ». A minute straight on from the apatment. Lots of restaurants, pubs, and cafes.

Rue Meynadier : Narrow street with lots of small shops, it goes to the Marché Forville. Big market for fruits and vegetables. 
On mondays, Antics market, all the day.
 

Les Allées de la Liberté : Small flower market every day.
On Saturdays antiques all day long. 

 

Embarcadère to the two"Iles de Lérins" : At the end of the old Harbourgh

Isle of sainte Marguerite : Visit the Fort Royal, prison where was the «  Iron Mask ».It’s nice to walk in the Island. To bath, the nicest beach is in front of the Island Saint Honorat.

Isle Saint-Honorat : Visit the Monastery.

Gambling:

Casino Croisette : Slot machines an other gambling games. Theater, concerts…

From AIRPORT :

Nice airport to Cannes: 25 km. Cost 1euro by bus !!

• Distance between Nice-Côte d’Azur International Airport and Cannes : About 25 kilometers.
• Bus N° 200. Cost: 1euro, it takes a long time because the bus stops everywhere but it's very convenient because there is one stop nearly down our building.
   Stop call: Haddad Simon. It's front of the Auction room. If you want to take this one I will tell you where to cath the bus from the airport. 
  Fast bus at the airport: It takes 30 minutes, throught the motorway (runs every 30 minutes) 17euros.
• Average cost of a taxi 70 euros. Allo Taxis : 04 92 99 27 27.

 A few free down town parking places

• There are a few streets free Parking between the « Hôtel de Paris » ( Tulip Inn) on Boulevard d'Alsace and the supermarket Casino starting from the Rue Louis Nouveau.
• As well down the Boulevard Carnot on the right side some streets are free. Behind Le Palais de Justice (Courthouse)
  
  

Otherwise put money in the ticket meter and leave the ticket inside your car.

• The stamps to pay your fines can be bought in a tabaco store. Keep the receipt for you…in case they ask you to pay twice !
  
  Two big cover parkings are near the house, soon a third one !
